During this time there is a fine motor control group being held with a teaching assistant for children to have extra support working on developing their fine motor control skills. Two groups work with a teacher and teaching assistant whilst the other two groups work on enhanced challenges independently. These children have the support of a teaching assistant to guide and help to develop their independent learning.
This afternoon our theme based work was brought to us via a challenge from Queen Sparkle. The weather in the Kingdom of sparkle has been dreadful and Queen Sparkle doesn't know what to wear! Also something has been causing many rainbows to show lately over the kingdom of sparkle and queen sparkle wanted to know what causes them?
We learnt about types of weather and dressing appropriately for it, what weather makes a rainbow, we looked at a variety of clues for looking at appropriate texts to help us find out more weather information too.

Some of the children who were working on independent enhanced challenges decided that they were going to finish painting the characters from our Roald Dahl story last week.

2.10pm -2.20 pm snack time.

2.20pm- 2.30pm 2nd break and out to play.

Coats and bags to go home.

As you can see your child has been very busy learning.
