This week's home-learning task is linked to Chinese New Year. The activity sheet has been stuck in the red learning logs. If your child does not have their learning log in school, they will have the activity sheet to bring home.
I am so pleased to see all the hard work the children are doing at home with the learning tasks, keep up the good work! Remember, the home-learning task can be adapted if and where needed to support your child at their stage of development. We want to celebrate their work they have done, so please encourage them to do as much as they can independently with some help along the way if they need it.
Head Lice
A text was sent on Monday informing parents that we have had repeated cases of head lice in the class. Please can you check your child's hair regularly and if any lice or eggs are found, treat immediately before they come to school the next day.
I understand how frustrating it can be. We are doing everything we can in school to prevent the spread of head lice. We are not using a box for hats etc. Hats and scarves are being kept with the children's coats on their pegs and no head wear is being used or shared within our areas in the class.
