Wythnos 7 / Week 7

Despite the miserable weather, we all had a lovely time at Cardiff Castle. We had a tour inside the castle and explored all of the different rooms. We looked around the castle grounds, they are enormous! After lunch, we met the storyteller who helped us to create our very own fairytale. He used a special microphone to record our voices and he will be delivering our finished story to the school this week. We can't wait to hear it!

I was so proud of all the children, they were so well behaved, a real credit to our school : ) A huge thank you to our parent helpers too!

Look at the pictures and talk about them with your child. What can they tell you? What was their favourite part of our trip?

We have a very busy week ahead, with lots of exciting things planned. Next week is 'Health and Well-Being Week' and every afternoon, we will be rotating in small groups around a carousel of activities together with Year 1 and Year 2 linked to this theme. Some of the activities include: zumba, yoga, making friendship bracelets, the 'top quality' awards and learning about how to keep our teeth healthy.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend - See you tomorrow.
