New home-learning task.

There will be no PE this week due to school photos in the hall and the trip on Friday. We have planned a very active week next week for our Health and Well-being week so lots of fun physical exercise : )


Dydd Gwener / Friday

Class trip to Cardiff Castle.

Please can children wear school uniform and bring a coat and packed lunch? Can you ensure their drinks are inside their lunchboxes for the trip to make it easier for them to carry?


Reading Cafe 

Thank you to those who attended the first reading cafe on Friday, the children really enjoyed it : ) Due to the trip on Friday, the next cafe will be on Friday 18th October. 

Language, Literacy and Communication

Handwriting carousel - practise to write the letters c,o,a

We will be exploring the story of 'Jack and the beanstalk' this week. 

Work with a partner to 'freeze frame' a part of the story.

Mathematical Development

Counting autumn treasures and writing numbers to match.

Welly Wednesday - Collect, sort and count autumn leaves and match the number. Use the leaves to make a 2 and 3 colour pattern.

Other areas of learning

Finishing off our collage houses.
Practising our song for Harvest - make flags for each country.
Exploring inside our houses - what are the different rooms we have and what are they used for? Can we sort the furniture?
