At the end of this week your child will be bringing home a ‘Log in code’ for a virtual reading service. This system follows the same scheme as we read in school, but gives the children a lot more variety of books to read at their level. The reading service also develops deeper comprehension skills and makes reading fun! Once your child has read a book they will be asked to complete a quiz by their avatar. This information will be sent to the class teachers so we can monitor their progress.

After half term I will change your child's paperback reading book every fortnight and we ask that they read online in between. Please continue to write in their yellow diary whether they are reading a paperback or online.  We hope you enjoy the new reading system.
