Please can you send in a small plastic clear bottle so the children can use them to make a message in the bottle. We are going to write our messages from Monday and all through next week. If you have spares then send them in too!
If you manage to get to the beach this weekend would you kindly ask your child to bring along a bag of shells and some pebbles. We are going to use them for a variety of activities.
For your information: Newton beach in Porthcawl is brilliant for collecting shells and pebbles. There is a parking facility next to the beach (and usually an ice cream van!) and it is a dog friendly beach too. As you look out to sea if you walk towards the left side to Ogmore you’ll find more things to collect.
We need shells and pebbles throughout the Summer Term so if you can’t get there until the next few weeks then there’s still plenty of time to help us with our collection.
