Read Write Inc sessions Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Listening: Show
that they have listened to others, Listen to and carry out a three step instruction. e.g. by drawing a picture. Draw a picture of Bramble the cow by following the instructions from the teacher.
Onset and rime with the rime sound 'ow' such as cow, wow, sow, brow, meow.
Be able to hear the rhyming sounds in these words and identify the word that doesn't rhyme.
Handwriting formation: (long ladder): letters i, j, l, t, u
Writing news about our school trip- sentence structure: capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and full stops.
Watch Timmy episodes, story board the story and sequence their own story board illustrations based on the activity modelled by the teacher last week.

Characteristics of the book. Counting and number formation.
Formation of numbers: 16,17,18.
Working as a pair- Activity: Counting the animals on the farm- use tally marks and record the amounts.
Take away/subtract the animals from the snowy fields.
Number sentences on Subtraction.
Directional Language- forwards, backwards, left turn, right turn.
Safer Internet Day activities February 8th- Create, connect and share respect.
We know all about Cows- where they live, what they eat, names of males/females and young.
Animal food sorting- The animals have mixed up all their food (different types of pasta) sort the animal food with 1, 2, 3 criterion and explain reasons for doing so.
Bee Bot navigation around the farm and village. Directional Language- forwards, backwards, left turn, right turn.
