Harvest Festival.

Harvest Festival and Thanksgiving.

We will welcome Pastor Phil Lewis to lead our service and join us in our celebrations on Thursday. The children will perform their class item- The Harvest Song posted earlier on the blog, as part of a whole school celebration.

For a number of years we have supported our local Food Bank at this time. Please support us and send in a food donation.

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. The Food Banks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis. We are asking that if possible the children consider donating an item of food to our Harvest table that will be decorated and displayed in the hall during our assembly.

After the celebrations, the School Council and staff will work to package any donations to send them to the food bank ready for local families who will be so very grateful for them.

Below is a list of items that Food Bank believe these families are in most need of:

Milk (UHT ),  Cereal and Porridge Oats,  Tinned and Packet Soup
Fruit Juice (UHT Carton),  Pasta Sauces,  Rice
Sponge pudding (tinned), Custard
