We are going to be learning how to measure using non standard units of measure. First we talked about what is length? What words do we use when we talk about length? How do you measure length? What could we measure the length of in our class and school?
It was a very interesting discussion. Some of us knew that length was something to do with measure. Some of us had never heard of the word before. We have chosen our items to measure this week and have a better understanding now that we discussed the questions.
