It was lovely to receive feedback during parents evening on how you use our Class blog page with your child. Everyone I asked said they found it a useful and valuable resource. Many parents, especially those who work and are unable to come to school, felt as though it created a link which allowed them to feel they were very involved in their child's education.
I am very pleased to hear that, as it does take time to update regularly, especially uploading photographs and editing and uploading videos too. The process can be long and tedious!
Teachers usually do these type of things in their own time and knowing how much its valued makes it worth while. Very few schools have a blog platform for parents to view what happens in the classroom and its satisfying to know that you recognise the value in this additional communication tool, thank you.
Here's a little information regarding this weeks learning.
Sequencing the illustrations from The Little Red Hen story.
Using the C touch screen and a painting programme to design and make their PTA Christmas cards.
These will be sent out tomorrow for you to view and pre order. Orders need to be returned after half term together with the illustration.
Tackling a 48 piece puzzle!
Working on the focused task where we used our senses to decide on the appropriate adjectives for fruit.
As you can see it was great fun and Mrs Evans worked very hard to help the children make a fruit patterned kebabs.
We also showed all of our friends our learning logs and discussed our homework.
We talked about what our next home learning could be.
This of course is a drawing of me!
A good likeness too I would say.
Have a relaxed and enjoyable half term everyone.
Mrs James, Mrs Evans and Miss Key.
