At the beginning of every theme we introduce a 'hook' this is something that grabs the children's attention and interest and gives them a purpose for their learning journey. Queen Sparkle is our 'hook' for our theme Yr Enfys and has given us a big job to sort out!
Meet Queen Sparkle.
We are going to help her over the next half term. The children will view this video tomorrow morning and then collectively make a mind map and think of all the ways we can learn about colour to help Queen Sparkle get the colour into the kingdom again. Their ideas and suggested activities will be used as part of their learning.
Talk to your child about Queen Sparkle and her problem. Ask them what they need to do to help her.
