There is another busy week ahead. We are continuing to centre our work around 'The Rainbow Fish'.
In Language, will be using our knowledge of the features of books to sort fact and fiction books. We will use the factual books to find a fact about a seaside creature.
In Maths we will be learning to recognise 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p coins.
During our knowledge and understanding session, we will be investigating sinking and floating. We will make predictions and then test to see if we were right.
In PSE we will be thinking about kindness and sharing. We will make a pledge to share something we like with someone either in school or at home.
We will complete a writing activity in Welsh, linking the topics of weather and clothes, for example, 'Mae hi'n heulog, dw i'n gwisgo sbectol haul.' (It is sunny, I am wearing sunglasses.)
We will make a rainbow fish in our creative session using celery to print the scales.
We will be practising for sports day during our PE sessions, please bring kit for both Monday and Wednesday as we will do this all together.
We will continue with Rainbow Fish book covers in ICT.
In Forest School we will go on a 2D shape hunt around the school and grounds, looking for shapes naturally in the environment and laminated shapes in the woodland.
