Photos from the week

We finished our Chinese New Year topic with an assembly for the rest of the school. Children from Y Felyn Wynt were the dragon and we danced and played instruments, as well as sharing facts about the celebration.

We had a party with some Chinese snacks and party games.

We made traditional red envelopes to hold a chocolate coin and went on a treasure hunt, following rhyming clues to find Chinese artefacts.

We also started a new book in preparation for St David's Day - 'Woolly Wendy and the Snowdon Lily'. Some activities included collage sheep, hot-seating Woolly Wendy, adding sets, making a class book 'Beth sy'n bod?', circle time about looking after plants, sequencing the life cycle of plants, planting seeds and writing instructions on how to look after them.  Wow, we've been busy!
