Another busy week in Y Garth. We have been holding conversations in Welsh, making pictorial maps and writing our favourite part of the 'Snow Lambs' story. We also made the most of the dryer weather at the beginning of the week to complete our forest school activity of building a den for the snow lamb and sheepdog.
We continued to discuss winter and the dark evenings during this season. In circle time we talked about some worries children have of the dark and we made snowmen nightlights. PLEASE NOTE: these have only been made as a creative activity and have not been tested overnight or for safety.
We estimated an amount of blocks and counted the sets, then recorded the number in Maths.
