Remember, remember the fifth of November!

Welcome back!

We hope you have enjoyed the half term break and are making the most of the beautiful autumnal weather.

This week our activities will be based around Bonfire Night and the excitement it brings.

In our language sessions we will be writing group poems about fireworks and our teacher will be the scribe.

Our maths tasks will involve adding by partitioning a set or by combining two sets and ordering firework pictures according to the number of fireworks in each picture.

In ICT we will use fill and splash tools to create firework pictures and create a background for display in art. To add to our display we will make 3d rockets.

Our Welsh sentence patterns for this week are:-
Ble mae ..? and Beth sy yn y ..? (Where is..? and What is in..?)

A few reminders for the week:-

Please would you send in the inside tube from a kitchen roll holder so that your child will be able to make a 3d rocket this week.

The book bags have been ordered, but had not arrived before half term. High frequency words, which we are working on in school, and a letter about reading are ready and will be sent out once the book bags have arrived.

Thank you for your support.
