The children have been settling well in to their new routines this week. We have been busy with focused tasks, for example, we found out that mixing colours can make new ones and we started to get ready to spot autumn colours by making orange and brown. We also followed colour patterns using pencils and beads. We drew our house and ourselves. We devised our class rules and have been learning to follow them! (We will post these on our blog soon)
Today we had a special assembly called 'The Ghastly Gravy on the Starship Gastromo' by the Food Standards Agency. It was about good hygiene routines in the kitchen, and included jokes, puppets, songs and lots of laughs from everyone. The children were totally engrossed.
Have a lovely weekend and we'll see you on Monday.
