- Taking away - eg if the bear has ten pieces of toast and eats one piece, how many pieces will he have left?
- Recognising properties of 2d shapes, the Bears have filled their cave with shapes, can the children reach in for a shape, describe its properties and match it to the same shape?
- Recognising that as we grow we change and can do more. Children will use photos from home and stick them in chronological order, discussing how they have changed
- Play Barrier Games, this develops children's questioning, answering and listening skills
- Make a rice bear, recognising the change in ingredients and discussing whether the change is reversible or not
- To make a 3d bear out of clay. Children will work on molding the clay and making the correct shaped and sized pieces to make the bear
- ICT - drawing bears and using the 'fill' tool on 2simple to complete it
- PE - Week 1: Straight shapes. Week 2: Star shapes
- FOREST SCHOOL - children will make 2d clay bears using natural for his features
- PROBLEM SOLVING - following the clues to work out which piece of numicon they need
- FOCUS HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS - I, in, is, it, he
