Over the next two weeks we will be continuing activities relating to 'Elmer' stories. They include:
  • Creating different shades of the same colour, and then finding different shades of the same colour whilst in the school grounds
  • Re-telling the Elmer story
  • Continuing with our textured Elmer
  • Recognising numbers 1-9 and working out which number Elmer has taken from the number line
  • Learning to play the board games we have in the class and remembering to put them away when we have finished!
  • PE - jumping and landing
  • FOREST SCHOOL - weeding our allotment
To help with our textured Elmer, if you have any of the following we would be very grateful:
  • Sandpaper
  • Cotton wool
  • Scouters
  • Kitchen foil
  • Bubble wrap
  • Silky material
  • Buttons
  • Lasagne sheets
  • Netting
To complete our work on Elmer we will be celebrating 'Elmer Day!' 'Elmer Day' will take place on Friday 26th September. The children will receive an invite from Elmer informing them of what will happen during the day.

As always, any problems, please come and see me.

Have a great weekend, see you Monday :)

NB The topic web of what the children decided they want to learn about this term will follow this post
