The staff were all very proud of the Nursery and Reception children this morning in our Harvest Assembly. They all performed very well and sat and listened to the other classes fantastically - well done!

The assessments have been completed this week - hooray! So we can now get on and have some serious fun, whilst learning. The next two weeks activities include an Autumn walk (which after watching the weather forecast promises to be more successful), sorting Autumn leaves according to colour and shape, making leaf biscuits and using craft knives to make veins on the leaves, colour mixing to make lighter and darker shades of Autumn colours, leaf rubbing, describing Autumn leaves and listening to Autumn stories.

Don't forget to download your Open Evening letter and bring it into school as soon as possible.

Have a great weekend. If you are out and about and find anything to do with Autumn, please bring it in and it can go into our Autumn Investigative area.

Many thanks
