We are enjoying our 'In the Garden' theme. The children have all planted sunflowers and are looking after them well. They will be coming home at the end of this week and we hope you will all have a tall sunflower in your garden by the middle of the Summer. This week many of our activities will be based around the senses. Amongst other things, the children will have opportunities to smell, touch and describe different herbs, make 'smelly' pots in the forest area, weigh different garden objects and recognise which objects are heavier or lighter.
