Although we have had a short term we have been busy completing activities relating to our 'In the Garden' theme. The children have all planted sunflowers and these now need to be looked after at home. Please keep them on a sunny windowsill until the stem becomes stronger. They will need lolly sticks of straws to lean against to give the stem extra support. When you transplant them into the garden please put them in a sunny position and use a stick or cane to support it. We look forward to seeing pictures of some very tall sunflowers before we break up for the Summer holidays!!

After half term we will continue with the same theme. Early into the last half term we will be looking at fruit and vegetables that grow in our countries and abroad.
