Last week, the children began working with their new 'sea crew' to think of a team name and decide which sea creature they are going to make. We had some very creative names : )

This week, they will be working together to complete some research online using ipads and also exploring a range of non-fiction texts before designing their model and planning the materials they will need.

In maths, we will be exploring simple subtraction. We will be practising to count backwards in 1s from different starting points, learning to recall 'one less' than a number up to 10 (and beyond) and taking away using different objects.

Let's stay healthy
We are taking every precaution to ensure a clean and healthy classroom and school environment. For the moment, we have stopped sharing the greetings at the door as the children come in first thing in the morning. We are continuing to focus on good hygiene, ensuring pupils wash their hands at regular times throughout the day, especially once using the toilets and before having snack and dinner.
