Children in Need - Friday 15th November
The children have planned what they would like to do on Friday for our Pudsey day. We will be having a teddy bear's picnic. The children will be making sandwiches and decorating Pudsey cakes for the picnic. Please can they bring a Teddy for the picnic?
Christmas activities
Letters were sent home last week with details of what your child will be in our Christmas show and what they will need to wear. Further information will follow shortly about the dates, times and tickets.
We also sent a letter about our trip to the panto. Please can you return the permission letter ASAP so we can finalise numbers?
If you have not received either letter, please let me know.
Digital Detox Week
To support our digital detox, there will be no blog updates or tweets this week. If there are any urgent messages, a text will be sent. The home-school task for this week was posted last Wednesday (see previous blog). Please can the red learning logs be returned to school by Monday 18th November?
Reading café
Our first reading café was a great success with lots of positive feedback. A huge thank you to all the parents and other family members that came to work with us over the past few weeks, the children really enjoyed it : )
The second reading café will start on Friday. I have a list of parents already signed up for this café, but we still have some space available if you would like to join us. If childcare is a problem, siblings are welcome to come along with you. Again, if parents are unable to make it, we would love to see grandparents too. All we ask is that you try to commit to the four weeks so that you don't miss anything from the sessions and also to ensure consistency for the children. We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
