Our first full week in Y Garth was a very busy one indeed! Here are some photos of some of the things we have been doing over the past fortnight:


'Getting to know you' circle games with our friends

We talked about the important rules we need to have to keep our class happy, healthy and safe:

Sit still and smart.

Use a quiet hand.

Be kind - kind hands, kind feet and kind words.

Always walk in the classroom.

Help to keep our classroom clean and tidy.

We went on a number hunt to find the bear prints.

Then we had to teach Baby Bear how to put them in the right order.

We had our first birthday in Y Garth - Penblwydd Hapus : )

Dyma fi! Painting our portraits for 'our friends' display.

We became forest detectives! We decided upon our outdoor rules for 'Welly Wednesday' and had fun exploring nature's treasures in our forest.

We made porridge just like the Three Bears. It was delicious : )

The children will start in their new Read,Write,Inc groups today.

PE- Please remember to remove jewellery before school.

We will also be starting 'Welly Wednesday' -completing forest school activities every Wednesday. Please ensure your child has a coat and wellies in school.
