Appeal from our Christmas Elves!

Santa's elves have been busy setting up an 'Elf Workshop' in our class role play area. It will give us an opportunity for our own little elves to develop many skills (such as fine motor control, scissor control, writing, measuring, comparing, problem solving and identifying 2d and 3D shape) in a fun Christmassy way.

To maintain the workshop, we need your help. Please bring in small boxes that we can use a presents, a range of shapes if possible, with cereal boxes being the biggest please, e.g. Tea bag boxes, cake boxes. Also, if you find any spare wrapping paper as you unpack your Christmas decorations, please bring that in too. We have a feeling we will get through a lot of wrapping paper over the next few weeks as we help Santa pack his sacks ready for Christmas!

One last request, if you have any elf costumes or hats (that would fit our children) that you no longer need, we would love to be able to dress up as we play.
