Mathematical Problem Solving.
The poor mermaids were in a spin today. The waves had washed all the shells around in the sea and mixed them all up! How will the mermaids make their shell necklaces? What can we do to help them find matching shells? These particular mermaids wanted shells that matched.

Below is measuring work. This is tricky because you have to start right at the end and put the bricks in a straight line.
