Investigating Environments.

We looked carefully at our school forest today in order to see ‘What makes a forest?’ We saw a variety of trees, dead, old and new that were so many different shapes, colours of green and sizes. We also found flowers- bluebells, forget me nots, dandelions, the cuckoo flower or lady’s smock, buttercups, daisies and dandelion seed head clocks. Fungus and stingy nettles were there too. We learned about how it can be harmful to pick these. 

We are going to record what we saw in a drawing and when we visit the beach we are going to do the same thing too. We will compare the differences and similarities of the both locations/environments.
