Snow.

It may snow tomorrow and there is a message on the main blog page from Mr Davies about what will happen if it does.

We have been asked to provide some snow home learning for you via our blog page.

If it does snow then the first thing we would like you to do is to wrap up warm, put on your wellingtons and have fun in the snow. Make a snow angel, build a snowman and have your photo taken. Afterwards when your feeling a bit chilly, warm up indoors and you can have a go at doing some of the following work:

Practice your letter sounds and yellow high frequency words.

Practice formation of letters and numbers.

Draw a snowman and colour it beautifully. Stay in the lines and really take your time.

Make a paper snowflake by folding paper and cutting out shapes (ask your parents to google how to do it if they don’t know).

Think of adjectives (description words) to describe snow.

Drink some hot chocolate.

Read a story to an adult and ask them what they liked about your story.

Count pieces of dried pasta, sweets, fruit, tins in the cupboard and write the number and item down e.g 20 pasta tubes, 5 sweets, 9 apples, 10 tins.

Play a game with an adult such as snap etc.

Just a few ideas for you to choose from.

Many thanks,
Mrs James.
