Handwriting Formation.

The children learn handwriting formation in a variety of ways.
We run a carousel of activities in order to keep the children interested and offer a variety of experiences.

Using whiteboards and pens.

Overwriting and underwriting in books.

Forming letters in other mediums such as shaving foam, sand and paint.

Using dough, clay and slime to develop fine motor control development and form letters.

Being encouraged to form lines, shapes and letters from a starting point. Here a child is practising the 'get ready line' for pre cursive script from a start dot.
These are all activities you can do at home as they require very few resources to practise.
