Working hard this week.

Colour mixing to make orange and making little red hens. Every stage was made by the children. 

Making feathers for the hen. 

Painting the hens body. 

Independent shape work. Children working in their play books. 

Using black pens to add detail and features. This is great for fine motor control. 

Below - deciding what their hen will look like and adding the feathers where they think they should be. 

Drawyaround every hand print and cutting everyone out independently. 

Printing leaves with colours of Autumn after colothem. Adding words that are associated with Autumn- harvest, cold, dark etc. 

Below the children have started to retell the story of the little red hen. 







We have been learning how to write on the lines, add finger spaces and sound out the words we want to write down. 

You'll get to see this lovely work next week. 

Charlie's been enjoying his sleepovers. 

He's ate lots of food, played a great deal and been hugged lots!
