I can't quite believe it is the last week of the Spring Term. I know that we are all looking forward to a well deserved Easter holiday filled with Easter surprises!!
Your children have worked very hard this term and I know that they will 'Blow your sock's off' when you see how much wonderful learning they have done when you pop in for parents evening this week. I am really looking forward to celebrating their achievements with you.
Language.
Formation of the letter 'n' in cursive script. Writing words and nonsense words with the letters that have been learnt so far such as no, not, can.
Continue onset and rime with the rime 'en'
pen, hen, when, then, men.
Listening to everyones presentations on China (Thank you for the wonderful home learning work that has been brought in).
Religious Education.

adding using a number sentence up to and over 20.
Formation of the numbers 7, 8, and 9.
Classifying 2D shapes in a venn diagram. Making 2D shape pictures.

Make Chicks and Hens for Easter.
Making Easter Nests.
PSE and Global Learning.
We are going to be learning all about Haja and where she lives. The similarities and differences between her country and ours. The similarities and differences in her house and ours. What she enjoys doing and lots more!
Our Red Nose Day celebrations are on Friday. The children can come dressed in red or in an animal themed outfit. They pay £1 forfeit for the pleasure of wearing non school uniform with all proceeds going to the charity.
