5 fell asleep on the return journey back to school which is always a sign of a good trip!
We had a detour and saw a GIANT Pudsey Bear outside the TV studios in Llandaff which really ended the trip on a high. I have lots of videos and photos to show you and when I have a spare few hours over the weekend I will edit and upload them.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILDS BAG FOR TWO MISSING TEDDY BEARS. A LITTLE PINK ONE WITH ERIN WRITTEN ON A PENDANT AROUND ITS NECK
AND
A LARGE WHITE ONE TOO.
The children who have mislaid their teddys were very grown up about waiting for them to be returned on Monday.
We know that the school raised a considerable amount of money for Children in need (over £400) and I believe the final total will be posted at a later time and on the BBC scrolling text line on the programme tonight.
Here are the cakes we made and ate today as part of our fundraising.
Thanks to the School Council and Mrs Rees for all their hard work and organisation of the week. We really enjoyed the lessons/activities that you planned for us.
One last point- please check your child's bag as there have been lots of things handed to them lately, such as school photographs, Christmas dinner slips, dental forms, Christmas costumes and parts etc, reading books will be handed out next week on Monday/Tuesday because of such a disruptive week. Please read over the high frequency words in the meantime. They always need practice with these words.
Enjoy the weekend.
Mrs James.
