Maths outdoors.

The children started to make their Little Red Hen crowns today. They went outdoors and collected 3 types of leaves in different colours and shapes. 

They each collected 5 leaves. 

When they returned we talked about patterns and how they could make their own patterns with leaves for the Crowns. 

This week we are much better at this skill after some practise. 

Keep a look out for more photos this week when we turn the leaf crowns into Little Red Hen crowns to wear for our Harvest Festival song on Thursday.
