The second week of July

There are lots of things going on in the week ahead.

We will be finishing up some work that needs to be done.

We also have Sports' Day, Move Up Morning and our trip to Barry Island to look forward to.

Our language work will be a recount of our trip.

In mathematics we will continue with our CLIC maths, which focuses on number skills and instant recall of number facts.

We will continue with guided reading sessions throughout the week and also practice letter formation.

Here are some important things to remember:-

Monday

Dinner money due.

Sports' Day - PE kit needed. Afternoon events for the Foundation Phase. There will be several events going on at once. You are free to follow your child's class from station to station.

Move up morning - A chance to meet your new teacher.

Thursday

Trip to Barry Island.

Friday

Please bring homework bags every day.

Don't forget a packed lunch on Thursday. Please wear summer clothes like shorts and T-shirts and suitable footwear for the beach. Bring sun hats and sun cream too.
