We still have plenty to do before that happens and this week we will be thinking about summer.
We will make a summer facts book in language sessions.
In mathematics we will continue with our STEM activities linked to time.
PSE work will involve us thinking about how to keep safe in the sun and we will make a poster to remind us what to do.
In Welsh sessions we will learn about shapes-cylch/circle, sgwar/square, triongl/triangle, petryal/rectangle, and ask 'Pa siap ydy hwn?'/ 'What shape is this?'
During Knowledge and Understanding of the World sessions we will think about what we might expect to see during the summer in school, at home and on holidays.
We will make a sun visor in our creative lessons and continue with sports practice in PE.
When we are outside for Forest School we will take photographs for our fact books about summer and in our ICT sessions we will create a beach scene using the tools on 2Simple for special effects.
Things to remember this week:-

Please bring book bags every day.
PE KIT IS ALSO NEEDED EVERY DAY. We will let you know updates about Sports' Day.
A few children have not returned the home task set for last half-term holiday. They had to ask an older relative the question they had devised in school about seaside holidays long ago and record their answer. It is not too late to return the work. Please do so if you still have it.
Thank you for all your support.
Enjoy the lovely sunshine that hopefully will remain for the rest of the day.
See you all tomorrow.
The Staff of Y Garth
