The activities for the week ahead will all be based around the story Lucy's Day Trip by Jennifer Northway.
In language sessions we will be concentrating on writing an account of a day trip to the seaside.
In mathematics we will be counting to100, counting on from a given number and saying the next number to a given number.
Our Welsh sessions will involve practising number and colour vocabulary and following the instruction 'Lliwiwch' which means 'Colour'.
In PSE we will make decisions and explain them by thinking about what is important to include when packing a bag for a trip to the seaside.
Knowledge and Understanding of the World will involve us using the strategy of group memory to complete a picture including seaside features.
In Forest School we will create a piece of artwork as a group. The artwork will be based on the work of artist Andy Goldsworthy who used natural objects in his creations.
Practising the skills of throwing and catching beanbags will continue in our PE session.
In music we will listen to the track 'What can you see?' joining in and adding actions.
We will use 2Simple 2Paint to draw a seaside picture and improve our mouse control in ICT.

PE kit needed.

Please bring book bags every day.
Trip money and permission slips need to be given in.
If you have any shells, seaweed or pebbles we could use for our artwork please send them in during the week.
We need five extra adults to accompany us on our trip to Cardiff Bay on May 18th. If you would be willing to come along please let Mrs Taylor or Mrs Farrell know as soon as possible.
