We all enjoyed the activities we did last week linked to Chinese New Year. We will continue with a few more this week as well as beginning work linked to the story Woolly Wendy and the Snowdon Lily.
In language we will hot seat the character Woolly Wendy, the sheep from the story.
In mathematics we will continue to add sets of objects.
During our Welsh lesson we will make a class book based on the sentence pattern 'Beth sy'n bod?' which we used last week.
Our PSE will focus on looking after plants and identifying healthy and unhealthy plants through pictures.
In Knowledge and Understanding of the World we will think about what a plant needs to be healthy and make an instruction leaflet entitled 'Looking after plants'. We will also sequence the growth of a plant.
PE sessions will be used to practise our dragon dance.
Our creative work will involve painting a Snowdon lily using images from Woolly Wendy to help us. We will also perform our dragon dance for the rest of the school.
In ICT we will refine our mouse control skills and draw a Snowdon lily.
As well as all this we have our Chinese New Year party to look forward to and Internet Safety afternoon.
