The First Week After Half Term

We hope you have enjoyed the half term holiday and made the most of the few sunny days we had.

The week ahead will once again be a busy one.

Saint David's Day will soon be here and we will be concentrating on preparing for our celebrations of our national day.

In language we will write a small piece for our Eisteddfod competition using our best handwriting and compose a group story about a dragon.

In mathematics we will continue with our work on addition of two sets.

We will complete our work based on the story Woolly Wendy by discussing the Country Code in PSE.

All our Welsh lessons will be used to learn songs and rhymes in readiness for our Saint David's Day Eisteddfod.

In Forest Schools we will think about what Wooly Wendy needed to take on her trek to the top of Snowdon and take our own trek to the woodland to have our snack.

Our IT session will be used to continue our drawings of Snowdon lillies.

Creative work will involve completing Snowdon lily paintings and creating a 2d dragon for the Saint David's Day art competition.

We will also listen to the story of Saint David during the week.
