We will be basing all our activities around this special day and also include Mothers' Day activities.
Our language work will be linked to the story Monkey Puzzle and we will sequence its main events.
PSE will deal with the importance of staying safe and being close to our parents.
In mathematics we will continue to practise addition and begin to understand subtraction through singing rhymes about monkeys.
Our Knowledge and Understanding of the World will involve matching animals to babies.
Welsh lessons will involve our singing for the Saint David's Day Eisteddfod and we will explore our culture by holding a Welsh afternoon during which we will taste Welsh food, play games and listen to Welsh folk tales.
In our craft session we will make a special card for you know who!
