An exciting day!

The children were very excited on Friday because they had a brand new homework bag to bring home! As discussed in parents evening, the bag contains high frequency words to learn. We also included some of the letters that we have been recapping in Read Write Inc. The picture on the letter and the sentence underneath helps the children to remember the formation of the letter when writing it. 

Please practise the high frequency words, letter formation and the letter sounds. You can even start to put the letters together to make simple CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant). Say each sound, then the word eg sad - 's, a, d, sad'.

Please take the sheets out, use them and keep them. Please bring the homework bag back every Thursday. We aim to send out new words and letters each Friday. Thank you for your support in this. 

The children had another busy week learning all about fireworks. We got so engrossed in the activities we forgot to take photos, apologies!
