The middle of October

We hope you are all ready for the start of another week.

We will be basing our work on the story Kipper's Birthday by Mick Inkpen.

After listening to the story we will sequence pictures to help us remember it.

We will think about presents children of different ages would like and match the most suitable present to the correct child.

In mathematics we will be learning to add one more to a number of objects up to 10.

During circle time we will think about helping others and in PE we will practise an autumn dance ready for Albert's party.

We will also be practising songs we have learnt to entertain Albert.

Our Welsh sentence pattern this week will be 'Dw i'n hoffi'. This means 'I like.'

Here is a reminder of the week ahead:-

Don't forget Parents Evenings on the 20th and 21st October. On those evenings you will receive a letter explaining our approach to reading and how you can support your child at home.

See you all tomorrow.
