What is on this fortnight...?

The children all thoroughly enjoyed Sports Day. I hope you all enjoyed the new format, it certainly kept everyone moving. I am very sorry, but I didn't take any photos as I didn't have anywhere to keep the camera throughout the afternoon. I hope you all took lots of snaps to remind you of a lovely afternoon.
This week the forecast promises lots of sun. Please ensure the children come into school wearing sun cream and a hat. We will re-apply sun cream at lunchtime.
Children will be receiving their invites to the Ugly Bug Ball this week - how exciting!

Over the next two weeks our main story will be 'The Bad Tempered Ladybird' activities include:

  • Hot seating the ladybird
  • Addition
  • Ordering bugs according to their height
  • Making ladybird pizzas
  • Circle time - the importance of good manners
  • Making a bad tempered ladybird  - choosing most suitable resources
  • Matching moods to pictures, using the feelings dice
  • PE - jumping, landing, walking with a good posture, rolling
  • FOREST SCHOOL- children will continue to look after, and hopefully pick some of the fruit and vegetables that have been planted.
Don't forget... our trip is next Tuesday. If anyone is interested in coming please let me know.
There is still some outstanding snack money, please send this in asap.

I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left. I am not sure where the time has gone! We have lots of lovely things to do before the end of the term, let's hope the sun continues to shine whilst we finish our garden theme.

As always, thanks for your support. You know where I am if you need me :)
