Hope you all had a good half term, weather wasn't great, but hopefully everyone managed to get out and about.
I can't believe the next holiday we have is Christmas - where has the year gone?

Over the next two weeks most of our activities will be related to the story 'The Prickly Hedgehog'.
Activities include:
LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
RWI sessions
Describing autumn leaves

MATHEMATICAL DEVELOPMENT
Becoming familiar with the language of addition - add, plus, and
Adding sets of leaves, sets of pictures or numbers

PERSONAL & SOCIAL DEVELOPMaking a home for a hedgehog

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Make a hedgehog out of clay, choosing suitable clay tools to create spikes
Make a firework picture by mixing glue with water, putting it on black paper, before using a straw to blow the glue over the paper. Sprinkle with glitter

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Use of outdoor equipment

ICT
Play Autumn games on CBeebies 
Create firework pictures on 2 simple program

FOREST SCHOOL
Make homes for hedgehogs

We will also be starting Christmas rehearsals, watch this space, costume letters and words will be out by the end of the week.

I will not be in school on Monday or Wednesday as I am on a course, Mr Drew will be covering.
