What is on next week?

We had a great Harvest assembly this morning. The children sang very well, and  all enjoyed watching the other children performing with their class. The food that was on ourHarvest table has now been collected by The Food Bank and will be distributed in the area to those families who need it.

Next week, our main story will be 'Handa's Surprise'. Our activities will include:

• Making a story necklace, when the children come home wearing it, ask them to use it to help them re-tell the story to you
• Making a number book, using numbers and pictures up to 10
• Adding 1 more or 1 less to a basket of fruit
• Circle time - discussing the differences between us. Talking about how we are all different, but all equally special
• Tasting and describing fruit
• Choosing appropriate materials to make the animals from the story 'Handa's Surprise'
• PE - balancing and jumping off benches remembering to land correctly
• FOREST SCHOOL - planting bulbs
• Making our Christmas cards that you will have the opportunity to order

Just checking - have you all had a letter about our Christmas trip to Rumble in the Jungle? Please ask if you haven't had one. 

Also, did all parent evening letters reach you tonight? The children had a lot to come out with!
