We have now got a fantastic 'Santa's Grotto' role-play area so that the children can be elves and wrap presents to load onto the sleigh ready for Christmas.
We will be continuing reading Christmas stories and we will be continuing our Christmas activities for the next three weeks. These include:
Christmas cooking
Making a hat for the Christmas Dinner and Party
Writing in our Christmas cards
Making a calendar for 2014
Learning the number pairs to six using reindeer food
Making an envelope to put all the Christmas craft in
Buying and selling reindeer food
As we are an Eco school please can your child make 1 Christmas card for the whole class which will be displayed on our classroom wall and not bring in one card for each of their friends. At the end of term they can choose 1 to take home. This way we use much less paper and the cards are much more meaningful and personal.
