Handa's Surprise

I hope you have had a good half term.  Over the next two weeks we will be looking at the story 'Handa's Surprise'. Most of our activities will be related to this story and include:

•               Making patterned fruit kebabs - e.g. orange, banana, orange, banana

•               Tasting fruit and choosing their favourite

•               A hunt around the school to find the lost fruit

•               Counting out fruit to go into Handa's basket

•               A circle time activity - discussing that we are all important and special even though we are all different

•               Planting bulbs and shallots and onions in the allotment

•                Ordering props from the story and sticking pictures in the right order.

We will also start to practise our songs ready for Christmas - believe it or not it is that time of year again! 

Snack money is now due which is £7 for this half of term.
