We had a great day on Thursday on St. David's Day. All of the children looked great and sang very well for the rest of the school. We watched the older children complete dancing routines and many of the children attempted to create their own routines when we got back to the class - it was great!
Over the next two weeks many of our activities will be related to the story 'Monkey Puzzle'. They will include:
Learning about the life cycle of the butterfly
Matching baby animals with their mums
Following clues that will take the children all around the school to find the lost monkey
Counting, recognising and writing numbers up to and beyond 10 and completing simple addition. I can not tell you all of the activities as some must be kept a secret because of Mother's Day!!

We hope to get some Frog Spawn next week, so the children can watch the change in it and learn about the life cycle of a frog.Any concerns please come and see a member of staff.
