Chinese New Year

We will be starting Chinese New Year activities next week in preparation for our Chinese New Year party that will take place on Thursday 3rd February. On that day children are asked to wear colourful clothes to school, as it is tradition for children to be brightly dressed whilst celebrating the New year.

We would like to invite parents and/or grandparents to join us at 1.30pm on Thursday 3rd February to watch a short Dragon Dance. After the dance the children will play pass the parcel whilst you enjoy a cup of green tea and some traditional Chinese snacks (normal tea and biscuits will also be available).

Over the next two weeks our P.E lessons will be used for practising our Dragon Dance, therefore no P.E kit will be needed until the week beginning 7th February.
